Matt Mugridge

Matt has been performing music since he was very young. He first started his musical ventures as a singer, winning several music festivals and after many years switched to guitar playing. After studying music at University he spent much of his time teaching and performing in a variety of groups and ensembles He has learned (and taught) most styles of guitar playing from thrash to funk to classical and over the last few years has been playing jazz. Central to his playing is the ability to improvise, a skill which he utilises in virtually every song played.
