Booking Terms & Conditions
• Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes between sets
• Private changing facilities are required
• Band members will require parking for two cars which needs to be within 30 metres of venue access point
• Staging/playing area needs to be a minimum of 10 x 10 feet
• Access to minimum of 4 separate 13 amp mains sockets is required with 10 metres of playing area
• Soft drinks/water available for refreshment
• For outdoor venues, the performance area needs to be adequately covered against the elements.

If the client has any complaints or problems with the performance they
must inform Jon Clarke of the band, so that any issues can be
rectified. Complaints from other guests will be disregarded
• For
safety reasons the Client, their guests and all refreshments must be
kept away from the Band equipment. Children must not be allowed to play
near or enter the designated area.
• If at any time there is any
aggressive, threatening behaviour towards any member of the Band we
reserve the right to stop playing until they are removed or stop
altogether if the situation is not resolved. Any damage to equipment
owned by the Band caused by the Client or their guests through wilful
acts will be paid for by the Client.
• The Band will always
endeavour to start the gig at the contracted time, however if unable to
start at this time CD music will be supplied until the Band is ready.
The agreed length of time will be played even where there is a late
start caused by the Band unless the Client wished us to stop early. If
the Client asks the Band to stop playing, which has not been
prearranged, it is the choice of the Band whether they continue
afterwards.
• The Band will require access to the performance area
1-2 hours before the start of the gig to set up. If the Client has a
specific requirement with regards set up time this must be notified to
the Band at the time of booking.
• A sound check will take place
prior to the start of the gig. All Band members will endeavour to
arrive at the venue in good rime. An hour must be made available
between the arrival time and the contracted start time.
Payment Terms
We require a
20% deposit in the form of a cheque made payable to “J. Clarke”. This
will only be cashed in the event of cancellation between booking date
and the gig date. Your cheque will be returned to you on the night of
the gig when we require Cash payment so that we can pay each member of
the band. If unable to pay in Cash on the night we require Cleared
Funds no less than 10 days prior to the date of the performance.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept credit or debit cards at this time.
Cancellation Policy
If
cancellation is within 28 days of the date of the gig, the fee shall be
100%. The non-refundable 20% deposit will only be refunded to The
Client should the Band cancel the gig due to injury, illness or death
of a Band member or any Band member’s family. The Band will use their
best endeavours to assist in finding a replacement band for the
contracted date. (Although we try to keep to the same line up,
sometimes it is necessary to use other performers due to illness and
other unforeseen circumstances).
